"To date, I am not happy with what the concessionaire is doing. People and society expect rapid and timely change. I do not observe these quick changes, visible, which should concern the passenger service. ”This was stated to BNR by the Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Georgi Todorov for the concession of Sofia Airport.

A deliberate inspection of Sofia Airport has shown that "nothing has changed to date," Todorov added.

"There is no traffic, passenger service is slow, I do not see changes in retail space or in the comfort of passengers waiting for the flight, hygiene is not high enough - the bathrooms just do not want to comment on them."

Minister Todorov reminded that the first 100 days of the effective date of the concession will soon expire and announced that "sanctions will be as provided for in the concession agreement." We remind you that on July 15, Minister Todorov visited the Sofia airport and met with representatives of the concessionaire. I expect Sofia Airport to become a modern and competitive airport, not only in the Balkans, but also in Europe. This was pointed out by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgi Todorov during the regular meeting of the joint committee between representatives of MTITC and the concessionaire of the airport "SOF Connect" AD, the Ministry of Transport announced at the time.

Regarding the state enterprise "Port Infrastructure" in the case of the sea overpass of Shabla Todorov, he clarified that "the report of the State Financial Inspection Agency states that it is probably an indicator of fraud."

After the inspection of the prosecutor's office, details can be commented, he specified.

"The contract was signed in 2014. There are findings made by the State Financial Inspection, from which it can be concluded that intentional, incorrect or inaccurate provision of facts about the implementation of the contract concluded between the state enterprise and the contractor," said Georgi Todorov.

In the case of the ordered inspections for repair of wagons and security at BDZ, Todorov pointed out that the findings presented by the internal audit unit were addressed to PFIA.

"NRIC is working with full force and steam to date," the caretaker Minister of Transport assured.

On the topic of road safety, Georgi Todorov stressed that this year the indicators for victims of road accidents are "much more than last year."
