The design, supply of materials and construction of boreholes for the Chiren expansion have started

"Bulgartransgaz" EAD and COCA "YU JES DRILLING CHIREN" will sign a contract for "Organizational planning, investment design, supply of the necessary materials and equipment, construction and commissioning of construction: "Expansion of the capacity of "PGH Chiren" - drilling fund". This continues strategic activities for the implementation of the gas storage expansion project, which will improve energy security, ensure the continuity and security of gas supplies, and increase competition and liquidity in the natural gas market in the country and the region.

The document will be signed at the Chiren gas storage facility on April 5, Wednesday, at 12:30 p.m. Energy Minister Rosen Hristov, representatives of the project contractor, international companies from the United States of America and Kazakhstan, as well as the Mining and Geological University.
