The Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) has extended until May 23 the deadline for submitting documents for the candidates for the position of director in the "National Energy Operator" EAD. This is clear from a message posted on the financial holding's page.

The competition is for the election of three members of the NEO Board of Directors, of whom two will be representatives of the state and one independent member.

Applicants must prove that they have at least five years of professional experience in one of the following professional fields: "Social, economic and legal sciences" or "Technical sciences" or "Humanities" or "Security and defense", with a professional direction - economics, finance, accounting and control, law, energy, construction, engineering and others, is written in the invitation.

After seven days of checks, it will become clear who is admitted to the second stage of the application. It will be divided into two stages - the candidates must provide a written vision with priorities for the development of the "National Energy Operator". The concept should be developed with a long-term vision and a 5-year management horizon of the company. After going through and considering this concept, it comes to an oral interview with the candidates.

Pending a competition for the selection of management, Plamen Gerdzhikov, Alexander Mihailov and Kostadin Hristov have been appointed to the Board of Directors of the company. The executive director of the company is Alexander Mihailov, BEH also informed.
