Five nominations for members and chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission

There are five nominations for chairman and members of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC). This is clear from the proposals of the parliamentary groups, published on the website of the Energy Committee of the National Assembly.
The procedural rules voted on earlier by the deputies refer to the election of a chairman and two members of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission - one in the field of energy and one in the field of water supply and sanitation.
There are two proposals for chairman of the EWRC - Meglena Rusinova, whose candidacy was put forward by the parliamentary group "PP-DB" and Plamen Mladenovski, who is nominated by "GERB - SDS".
Meglena Rusinova works mainly in the renewable energy sector, she is a long-time chairman of the Bulgarian Photovoltaic Organization. Meglena Rusinova has another nomination - for a member of the KEWR in the field of energy.
Plamen Mladenovski is currently the director of the "Electricity and Thermal Power" directorate in the energy regulator.
Tasko Ermenkov has also been proposed as a member of the EWRC in the energy sector on behalf of the parliamentary group "BSP - United Left".
The candidacy of Remzi Osman - from "Democracy, Rights and Freedoms" - MRF has been put forward for the water supply and sewage sector. Remzi Osman was a lawyer at the EWRC until a few years ago.
Alexandra Nikolova Bogoslovska has been nominated for this sector on behalf of the parliamentary group of "There Is Such a People".
