Over 26,000 users joined Shelly Group's Earth Day initiative

Over 26,000 users from all over the world joined Shelly Group's Earth Day initiative, organized in the Shelly Smart Control App ecosystem, on the occasion of World Earth Day (April 22).
In just one hour, 65,348 smart devices were turned off, which resulted in saving over 2 MWh of electricity - equivalent to an average two-month consumption of a household or a mileage of over 11,000 km with an electric car.
“The campaign proved that innovative technologies, partnerships and consumer engagement can lead to real change – with the touch of a button,” commented Ivan Zahov, Marketing Director of Shelly Group.
The initiative is part of the broader ESG strategy of Shelly Group – the company applies international sustainable standards, invests in renewable energy and creates technologies with long-term environmental value, so this campaign is not symbolic, but actually helps reduce the carbon footprint – achieved with the touch of a button in the Shelly application.
Three of the participants in the initiative won prizes provided by the company Zendure, which is also a partner in the initiative. The prize is an innovative Zendure Hyper 2000 system, with a modular battery AB2000S, designed for solar energy storage. Its compatibility with Shelly Pro 3EM, which provides energy autonomy and significant savings for end users.
