BEH ends the nine-months 2020 profit of BGN 141.9 million
The Bulgarian Energy Holding ended the first nine months of this year with a profit of BGN 141.9 million. This is recorded in the unaudited financial statements of the company. Compared to the same period last year, profits have increased dramatically. At that time the company was at a loss of BGN 22.3 million.
BEH received over BGN 20 million from the liabilities of Toplofikacia Sofia. Compared to the same period last year, the revenues received are BGN 5 million more. The total receivables from the capital's heating system amount to over BGN 438.5 million. They are decreasing minimally compared to the same period last year. The decrease in the amount of receivables from Toplofikacia Sofia EAD is mainly as a result of the payments made by the district heating company under the two agreements concluded with BEH EAD for rescheduling of liabilities in 2015 and 2018 at a total value of BGN 600 million, according to from the holding.
Trade receivables from TPP Maritza Iztok 2 have jumped sharply in the first nine months of the year and now amount to BGN 331.2 million.
However, the loans provided to companies related to BEH continue to grow sharply and for the first nine months of this year have reached BGN 1.6 billion. For the same period last year, loans were worth BGN 1.1 billion.
It is clear from the data that the holding's receivables from NEK amount to BGN 1.3 billion as of the end of September this year. The overdue receivables are for BGN 251.3 million. Another BGN 2.2 million is owed by Bulgartel to BEH. Receivables from TPP Maritza Iztok 2 amount to BGN 353.9 million and there are separate agreements for old interest rates on loans, which are for another BGN 23 million.
