The energy exchange reported an absolute Day Day record for December

A record 1,754,887.8 MWh was traded on the Day Ahead market in December. This is the highest monthly value achieved since the creation of the segment in 2016, according to the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (IBEX).

"The excellent results are due to the efforts of all trade participants, to whom we are more than grateful and thankful at the end of this year. We are optimistic about the new 2021 and we are convinced that more successes are ahead," said Konstantin Konstantinov, Executive Director of the IBEX.

Currently, the active participants in the Day Ahead market are 83.
