Minister Hristov will participate in a round table dedicated to the future of gaseous fuels
Energy Minister Rosen Hristov is leaving for the Czech capital, Prague, where he will participate in a round table dedicated to the future of gaseous fuels on the EU energy market. During the discussion, representatives of the EU member states, the European Commission and the European Parliament are expected to discuss the topic in the context of the current geopolitical situation and the implementation of the REPowerEU plan. Deepening the discussions between politicians, experts and businesses will help to find reliable solutions to increase energy independence and decarbonize the energy sector.
In Prague, Minister Hristov will also participate in the informal energy council organized by the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU. During the meeting, EU ministers will discuss a roadmap for further actions related to the possibilities of providing natural gas at affordable prices for European consumers, as well as ways to reform the electricity market.
