On January 3, the Council of Ministers will sign an agreement through which Bulgargaz will gain access to the terminals and gas transmission network of the Turkish state energy company Botaş (BOTAŞ). The agreement is concluded for a period of 13 years, reports the press service of the Council of Ministers.

The document will be signed by the managements of "Bulgargaz" and Botash in the presence of the Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov and the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez. After the signing, Prime Minister Galab Donev will hold a meeting with Ministers Hristov and Dönmez, at which other opportunities for cooperation in the field of energy between Bulgaria and Turkey will be discussed.

We remind you that such an agreement is key for our country to have access to Turkey's gas transmission infrastructure. In this way, a new natural gas supply route for the country and the region will be provided.
