Minister Pulev seeks to deepen the partnership for key common priorities in the field of the automotive industry, communications, space technologies and logistics
Joint projects in the field of communications, space technologies, logistics services and the automotive industry were discussed by the Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev with the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Alsauha in Riyadh.
The Minister of Innovation and Growth presented the opportunities for investments and the implementation of joint projects between Bulgarian and Saudi companies. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showed serious interest in strategic partnership with high-tech Bulgarian companies, which were invited to upcoming forums, as well as to investment talks.
Pulev indicated that he relies on the activation of cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies and exchange of practices between companies from the two countries.
During the meeting, the two discussed deepening the partnership on key common priorities in the fields of the automotive industry, communications, space technology and logistics.
In Riyadh, Minister Pulev also held a meeting with the Space Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Saudi Space Commission). Common projects in the space industry, as well as partnerships with Bulgarian companies from the sector, were discussed at it.
During his official visit to Saudi Arabia, the Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev, together with the Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov, were also received by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, brother of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and Minister of energy. Along with the opportunities for joint projects in the field of energy, the cooperation in the field of economy and the development of serious investment projects between the two countries were also discussed during the meeting.
Minister Pulev and minister Stoyanov also participated in a meeting with the leadership of the National Fund for Industrial Development and Logistics (NFIDL), where interest in investing in the construction of a cargo airport in our country was discussed. NFIDL is an institution of significant importance to the economy of Saudi Arabia, which aims to transform the country into a leading industrial and global logistics hub.
We remind you that within the framework of his official visit, Minister Pulev also held meetings with the Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, and the Public Investment Fund, the largest sovereign fund of Saudi Arabia, which manages a resource of nearly half a trillion dollar.
