The possibilities for deepening energy cooperation were the focus of the meeting of the Minister of Energy Rumen Radev with the ambassadors of Sweden, Finland and Denmark in our country Katarina Rangnit, Christina Kouvaya-Xanthopoulos and Jes Brogord Nielsen. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy in the presence of Deputy Minister Nikolay Nikolov and experts from the international directorate. This was announced by the Ministry of Energy.

Among the topics of the conversation were also energy diversification and the security of access to energy resources, the challenges facing the energy transition, the use of natural gas as a transitional fuel in the energy transformation, as well as the ambitions in the development of nuclear energy and RES. Emphasis was also placed on energy connectivity and cooperation in the Balkans.

At the end of the meeting, the ambassadors of the three friendly countries pointed out that Bulgaria is an important partner and it is important that the bilateral relations between them be preserved and developed.
