The head of state condemns the escalation of tensions in the Middle East

The head of state, Rumen Radev, is following with concern the development of the conflict in the Middle East and condemns the escalation of tensions. All countries in the region should refrain from further use of force, the president's press office said in a statement.

The head of state is in constant contact with the Bulgarian government and the security services to guarantee the life and security of Bulgarian citizens in the Middle East and, if necessary, for their evacuation from the region.
