Reshuffles at the top of the state energy sector: Directors have been replaced at Mini "Maritsa East", NEC, NPP "Kozloduy - New Powers"

The Bulgarian energy holding made several key moves in state-owned energy companies today. By decision of the Board of Directors (BoD) of "Bulgarian Energy Holding" EAD, a change was made in the management of "Mini Maritsa-East" EAD. In the place of Eng. Ilza Chinkova, as a member of the Board of Directors, stands Todor Todorov. With the decision of the Board of Directors of "Mini Maritsa-East" EAD from today, he was elected as an executive director. Todor Todorov held the position of executive director of "Mini Maritsa-East" EAD from January 2009 to February 2011, as well as in January 2022.

With the following decision of the directors of BEH, they made a change in the Board of Directors of "National Electric Company" EAD. Momchil Vanov was replaced by Deyan Ivanov as a member of the Board of Directors. His work is closely related to the Energy sector - he was a chief expert associate in the Parliamentary Committee on Energy, a member of the Board of Directors of the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources Fund, and from February 2017 to June 2018 he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BNEB EAD.

"Bulgarian Energy Holding" EAD also decided to accept the resignation of Svilen Spasov as a member of the Board of Directors of "AEC Kozloduy - New Powers" EAD. The company's Board of Directors includes Georgi Dobrev, who has many years of experience in the field of energy, as from August 2020 to February 2022 he was a member of EWRC, and from December 2014 to August 2020 he held the position of a member of the Board of Directors of Kozloduy NPP - New Powers EAD.

The changes come into effect from the day the decisions are entered in the Commercial Register at the Registration Agency, until new tender procedures are held, the company reminds.

A change was also voted in the Supervisory Board of "ICGB" AD - in the place of Momchil Vanov, Rumyana Petrova enters as a member of the Supervisory Board. Her professional path is also in the field of Energy, having held the following positions in the Legal Department at Bulgargaz EAD - Chief Legal Counsel, Deputy Director of the Directorate and Director of the Directorate. A General Meeting of the shareholders of ICGB JSC is about to be convened to make a decision.
