The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (EWRC) is about to adopt a decision regarding the extremely high prices achieved on the balancing energy market, the energy regulator announced.

The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation is analyzing the possible solutions in connection with the situation with the extremely high prices reached on the balancing electricity market.

By the end of next week, EWRC will adopt and issue a decision with which the problem will be resolved through a fairer way of distributing the costs of balancing electricity among all market participants, the announcement says.
