BNEB reports a record in intraday segment traded volumes under the continuous trading mechanism

The Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (BNEB, IBEX) reports a record in the traded quantities of the "intraday" market segment (Continuous Trading mechanism).

Traded quantities of electricity in the month of July 2024 on IBEX's intraday market segment reached a record 288,783.2 MWh, the energy exchange said in a statement.

The growth is mainly due to the earlier time established after the launch of Intraday Trading (IDA) at which the available capacities become available, as well as the growing interest in the robotic trading API service.
