EWRC will discuss Bulgargaz's gas price proposal in September

The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation will, in an open meeting, discuss the proposal of "Bulgargaz" for the price of gas for the month of September 2024 in the amount of BGN 59.54/MWh (without prices for access, transmission, excise duty and VAT), including the component for the activity "public supply" in the amount of BGN 2.08/MWh and the component "obligations to society" in the amount of BGN 0.47/MWh.

This is a decrease of 1.99% compared to the approved price for the month of August of BGN 60.75/MWh.

The report is based on securing gas supplies from Azerbaijan and the Chiren underground gas storage facility.
