13 companies participated in the tender for the supply of LNG for November and December 2024 at the Alexandroupolis terminal

13 international companies showed interest in the tender announced by Bulgargaz EAD for the supply of liquefied natural gas to the terminal in Alexandroupolis, Greece for the months of November and December 2024, and 6 of them submitted binding offers.

The company "TotalEnergies Gas and Power Ltd." was ranked first among the participants in this tender as well, which offered the most competitive delivery conditions, taking into account all the criteria set by "Bulgargaz" EAD. We remind you that at the end of August, Bulgargaz EAD announced 3 tender procedures for the supply of a total of 5 loads (5,000,000 MWh) of liquefied natural gas within its reserved capacity at the terminal in Alexandroupolis.

The first tender was for the supply of natural gas in the month of October, the second - for the months of November and December, and the third procedure is for supplies in January and February 2025.

The requested quantities are for one load per month. The first tender procedure ended on 11/09/2024 and the agreed quantity of liquefied natural gas, amounting to 1,000,000 MWh, arrived yesterday from Norway at the terminal in Alexandroupolis.

The deadline for registration of interested parties in the tender procedure for the supply of liquefied natural gas for the months of January - February 2025 continues, and in the middle of November it is expected that a supplier will be selected for these cargoes as well.
