SAMEDAY, the leading regional courier company, launches a delivery service to partner locations, expanding its network of out-of-home (OOH) delivery points to the largest in Bulgaria.  In just 2.5 years of operation in the country, the courier's active delivery points are now around 1,500. These will reach nearly 1,600 by the start of peak season - 600 partner sites and over 950 easybox lockers, or 400% more compared to the same period last year. The expansion of the network provides additional delivery options for customers, a competitive advantage for SAMEDAY's online store partners and new revenue streams for the outlets in the network.

Bulgarian post, Cashcredit, fastpay and Mareshki become SAMEDAY delivery points

The SAMEDAY point network of partner offices will cover 171 localities by Black Friday. A key partner is Bulgarian Posts EAD, with over 320 post offices now also serving the courier’s customers. Partner locations also include over 60 Cashcredit offices, nearly 30 Fastpay locations, and 120 Mareshki pharmacies.

The new service improves delivery access across the country, providing convenient pick-up and drop-off points at familiar locations and offering new revenue opportunities for businesses with physical locations. All points are equipped with advanced software to ensure the fastest possible service for clients.

Network expansion to meet the rising demand for out-of-home delivery

“Our recent survey shows that 52% of consumers consider the ‘right’ delivery method as a key factor when choosing an online store. We’re pleased to have achieved our network expansion goals ahead of Black Friday, giving our partners added confidence that we’ll successfully navigate the challenges of the peak season together.”, says Radoslav Krumov, CEO of SAMEDAY Bulgaria.

In 2024, 55% of parcels handled by the company were collected from OOH delivery points, reflecting the preference for accessible delivery options. The courier’s partner offices will assist with parcel pick-ups and returns, offering extended hours, while over 75% of easybox lockers are accessible 24/7.

“Receiving a parcel from an easybox usually takes under 15 seconds, which shows how much time we save our customers. Our goal is to make parcel collection a seamless part of daily life for the end user. That’s why we’ve expanded our service portfolio—so everyone can find the option that works best for them.”, adds Radoslav Krumov.

Largest out-of-home delivery network in the region

SAMEDAY maintains its leading position in the region with the largest out-of-home delivery network, numbering almost 7,000 points in Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary.

“We realise that a key factor for scaling online business is access to new markets. That’s why we are actively working towards creating a large-scale and well-functioning delivery network in the region, which allows our clients to easily expand their activities beyond the borders of the country they are located in.”, shares Lucian Baltaru, CEO of Sameday Group.
