President Rumen Radev begins consultations with parliamentary groups in the 51st National Assembly on December 10, the press center of the head of state announced.

In accordance with Art. 99, para. 1 of the Constitution, President Rumen Radev begins consultations with representatives of parliamentary groups in the 51st National Assembly.

From 9:30 a.m., the head of state will receive representatives of GERB-SDF.

From 11:30 a.m., the president will hold consultations with representatives of "We Continue Change-Democratic Bulgaria".

Earlier, speaking to Bulgarian journalists in Paris before the opening ceremony of the restored Notre Dame Cathedral, President Radev expressed his expectation that with her expertise, the new Speaker of the National Assembly, Natalia Kiselova, would bring calm and efficiency to the work of the Bulgarian parliament.

"Consultations are coming up and they will show whether there is potential for forming a regular government. Only then can we discuss the next options for a caretaker government," said Rumen Radev. The President added that the election of the Speaker of the National Assembly was extremely difficult and the ongoing dialogue between the parties will make it clear whether they can form a regular government.
