Vladimir Malinov to participate in the meeting of EU energy ministers in Brussels

Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov will participate on December 16, 2024 in the regular meeting of the EU Council "Transport, Telecommunications and Energy", part "Energy", in Brussels. During the meeting, it is planned to present a report by the International Energy Agency on the future of geothermal energy, as well as to adopt Council conclusions to promote its development. Opinions will also be exchanged on the future of sectoral policy to achieve an Energy Union. Minister Vladimir Malinov will also participate in the meeting of the member states of the Nuclear Alliance, organized by France.

Within the framework of the Council, Minister Malinov will meet with Leonor Gewesler, Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology of Austria. The main topic of the conversation will be cooperation between the two countries to ensure energy security in the region.
