Prices of water supply services for some settlements increase by over 19%, for others decrease by over 14%

Prices of water supply services for over 35 settlements since the beginning of 2025 compared to last year have increased for some settlements, but decreased for others. This is clear from the report provided by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission.

The most serious is the increase in price for customers of "Water Supply and Sewerage - Sliven" OOD - by 19.8%. Thus, the price of water per cubic meter with VAT from 3,902 BGN jumps to 4,674 BGN.

Although for "Vodosnabdyavane - Dunav" EOOD, Razgrad the increase is only 2.7%, the price jumps from 6.097 BGN per cubic meter to 6.259 BGN per cubic meter. The price for the customers of "Vodosnabdyavane i sevazizatsiya - Shumen" also increases by 9.6% - from 5.480 BGN to 6.006 BGN per cubic meter. The price of water in Silistra also increases by 6.2% (to 6.155 BGN per cubic meter).

Currently, Razgrad, Shumen and Silistra are the three cities with the highest water prices - over 6 BGN per cubic meter. In 12 other settlements, the price of water exceeds 5 leva per cubic meter.

Residents of "Sofiyska Voda" will also pay more - 3.695 leva per cubic meter instead of the previous 3.523 leva (an increase of 4.9%).

The price of water for residents of Dobrich is also significantly reduced - by 14.2%. Thus, instead of the previous 4.363 leva per cubic meter, they will pay 3.743 leva. For residents of Lovech, the decrease is insignificant - by only 0.4 percent - from 4.897 to 4.879 leva per cubic meter, and for those of Haskovo - by 5.7% (from 5.316 to 5.014 leva per cubic meter).
