Fund of Funds and National Statistical Institute signed an agreement on cooperation and strategic partnership

Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria EAD and the National Statistical Institute (NSI) signed an agreement on cooperation and strategic partnership for inter-institutional exchange of information.

The document regulates the joint work between the two parties, with the exchange of information including both the possibility of providing data from the statistical surveys of the NSI and from the information arrays of the Fund of Funds (FF), as well as the assignment of additional studies if necessary. It is the obligation of both institutions to use the information received only for statistical and/or analytical purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Statistics Act and applicable European legislation.

In particular, the cooperation will allow the Fund of Funds to structure financial instruments that are based to the maximum extent on data and sector specifics, to prepare targeted analyses of the market situation and to measure the achieved results and effects of the implementation of the assigned mandates. The signed agreement is a logical continuation of the successful partnership in 2024 between the NSI and the Fund of Funds in connection with the prepared analysis of the achieved results and effects of the implementation of the financial instruments from the 2014-2020 programming period.

The two parties expressed their satisfaction with the signed document, stating their mutual readiness for a close and fruitful partnership, as well as support for joint initiatives. The heads of the institutions specified that as a first step after the concluded agreement, the exchange of data, experience and expertise is envisaged, on the basis of which the follow-up actions can be outlined in the best possible way.
