Minister Zhecho Stankov leaves for a working visit to the United States
Part of the meetings will be about the construction of units 7 and 8 at the Kozloduy NPP
Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov is leaving for a working visit to the United States of America. During his two-day visit, he will participate in the Sixth Delphi Forum, which is being held in the capital Washington. At the forum, Minister Stankov will take part in a high-level discussion on the new map of energy diplomacy.
His program also includes talks at the government level, including with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources, as well as taking part in a roundtable with representatives of American business.
Minister Zhecho Stankov is expected to meet with the management of the American company Westinghouse and the US export-import bank Exim Bank, the Ministry of Energy reports.
Discussions with the bank and the company will focus mainly on the construction of new nuclear units with AP1000 technology at the Kozloduy NPP.
