These are the consequences of the latest Russian ballistic missile strikes on civilians in Ukraine.

While the world talks about peace, innocent people and children continue to die.

What is the point of continuing to sow death if you want peace? Why should the fiery maw of war continue to swallow more and more human lives? Aren't hundreds of thousands of broken destinies enough?

Why didn't the Russian leadership simply accept the extremely reasonable and logical offer of US President Donald Trump for a lightning-fast 30-day truce and ceasefire? Why shouldn't the long-awaited peace talks be held in a calm atmosphere, and not amidst news of chaos and destruction? Who wants peace and who wants war?

I think these questions concern every normal person.
